Western Plains Pork

Located in the cool, temperate grassland plains of Western Victoria, 150 kilometres west of Melbourne between Ballarat and Geelong, Western Plains pigs live in an outdoor bred environment. The sows live outside in small paddocks with ample shelter, water and wallows. Sounds to us like a pretty awesome life!

Shannon Glen Berries

Judy has been growing berries in her garden, using biodynamic principles, for the past 15 years. They come from Mumbannar, near Dartmoor in far Western Victoria, and these berries make delectable additions to our dessert menu!

We are so lucky to have talented locals all around us, and Sooze Bell provides us with a pub full of beautiful floral arrangements every week, all year round, using flowers from her own gorgeous garden and those of various others around the area.

Hopkins River Beef

Now in its third generation and for more than eighty years, the Maconochie family has raised Angus beef cattle amongst the red gums near the Grampians, in the heart of Western Victoria. Whether it's Rib Eye, Porterhouse or Scotch, the steak from these guys absolutely flies out the door here at the Bunyip! A favourite for locals and newcomers alike.

Westerly Downs Duck & Quail

Westerly Downs is a family owned and run regenerative farm in the hills of Henty Victoria where they run pastured duck and quail alongside their beef operation. 
They cover the entire process of breeding, hatching and brooding their birds until they are of age to be raised on chemical free, multi-species pastures with access to swimming water in dams and ponds, sunshine, bugs and all things that come natural to them.
